A gazebo and flowers attracted people to the prayer station.
The Big Church Gathering organised by the United Reformed Church saw a get-together of many people from churches across Yorkshire at the West Yorkshire Sculpture Park. As you can see from the photos, the weather was kind and everyone enjoyed themselves. Some members from our church went along and had a great time. Caroline and Sarah had organised a prayer station based on walking – ‘Walking the Way’ and ‘Pilgrimage’.
Footsteps activities helped explain that Jesus is The Way and we should follow him. Youngsters had fun dipping their feet in paint and walking on a big sheet of paper. There were also footprints for people to write their thoughts on.
