First Time at Church?

Welcome to Northcliffe Church!

If you’re new to our church community, we invite you to join us and look forward to getting to know you. As you enter the church, you’ll find the latest notice sheet on the welcome desks, along with other informative materials. There will always be someone available to offer you a warm welcome and guidance on what to do.

Here are some common questions newcomers often ask:

  • Is there a requirement for me to stand up and introduce myself?
    • No, there is no such obligation. However, there will be chance to meet other members before and after the services.
  • Is there a dress code?
    • Feel at ease, as there are no specific dress codes. Wear whatever makes you comfortable, echoing the sentiment of Jesus: “Come as you are.”
  • How can I find you?
    • Locating us is easy! You can find our complete address and view a map of our location on our “Contact Us” page.
  • Is there parking?
    • There’s a small car park at the side of the church buildings and on-street parking available.
  • Where’s the entrance?
    • There are two entrances. The main church entrance faces the main road, and we have a side entrance which gives access to the church hall and other meeting rooms.
  • What about children?
    • Children are more than welcome! During our family services, children begin in the church with everyone else, then if they wish to, move into small, supervised groups, returning shortly before the service concludes. or they may upstairs with family members or engage in quiet activities at the back of church.

We are a mixed fellowship of people from two churches that got together in 2009 to form Northcliffe Church. Northcliffe is a United Reformed and Methodist Local Ecumenical Partnership or LEP.

Our link Minister, Rev Lisa Quarmby, is one of the Bradford North Methodist Circuit Ministerial Team. Lisa is attached to Northcliffe and three other Methodist Churches.

We are proud to have been granted the Child Friendly Church Award from the URC. We are also a member of the Additional Needs Alliance. We welcome all people to our fellowship.
