At our Church Anniversary Service, we were pleased to have the Reverend Michael Mewis, former minister of Shipley URC to lead our Communion Service. We also welcomed his wife Pauline. It was good to meet many old friends and to stand all together round the Lord’s table. Although we recognised our shared past, Michael challenged us not just to look back but to be ready to move forward.
